Repair Rates written before the work

Trusted local HVAC service

You should know the shape of the bill before anyone starts replacing parts. Service call: $79 per system. If you approve the repair, the $79 goes toward it. After hours visits are priced separately. The prices below are starting figures for the repairs we see most. The estimate we write for your system is the price.

01How pricing works

Diagnosis First, Then a Number

A price without a diagnosis is a guess. We do not guess, and we do not start the repair until you have the estimate.

  1. 01

    $79 to find the fault

The visit, the diagnosis, and a written estimate. Applied to the repair if you go ahead.

  2. 02

    The estimate is the price

Labor and materials are in the number. We do not add a surprise line after the wrench turns.

  3. 03

    Access and age still matter

An attic, a crawlspace, or a system that is already worn out can move a starting price. We say that in the estimate.

  4. 04

Sometimes the repair is the wrong spend

If replacement is the honest call, we show both numbers. See AC replacement or furnace replacement.

02Starting prices

Starting Prices for Common Repairs

Each figure is a start, not a bid. It includes the diagnostic, labor, and materials. A dash in your head for a job that does not apply to your equipment is correct: an outdoor fan motor is not a furnace part.

  • Digital thermostat, from $320

Furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump. The stat still has to match the equipment. Thermostat installation is the page for that work.

  • Indoor fan motor, from $490

Furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump.

  • Outdoor fan motor, from $460

Air conditioner or heat pump. Not a furnace repair.

  • Contactor or capacitor, from $280

Furnace, air conditioner, or heat pump.

  • Circuit board, from $490

    Furnace or heat pump.

  • Flame igniter, from $280

Furnace. Heating repair is where a no-heat call starts.

  • Gas valve or inducer, from $480

    Furnace.

  • Power fuse, from $195

    Air conditioner or heat pump.

  • Add refrigerant, from $380

Air conditioner or heat pump. Refrigerant leaves through a leak. Topping off is not the same as finding it. AC repair covers that diagnosis.

These figures can change. They are here so a homeowner can see the shape of a bill, not so a national price list can stand in for your system. If you want the work financed, that is FTL financing. If you want the seasonal visits instead of a repair, that is the $19.99 membership.

03The estimate

What You Can Hold Us To

License #0006641. Insured. The number on the estimate is the number we bill for the work you approved.

  1. 01$79 Service Call, applied toward an approved repair
  2. 02Written estimate before the repair starts
  3. 03Starting prices above include diagnostic, labor, and materials
  4. 04We say when a repair is a poor use of the money
  5. 05We come back and look if the repair we did does not hold

04How it works

How a Priced Repair Goes

Three steps. The middle one is the estimate.

  1. Step 01

    Tell us what changed

Warm air, no heat, a noise, a stat that will not hold. A photo helps. It does not replace the diagnosis.

  2. Step 02

We diagnose and write the price

The $79 visit ends with an estimate. You decide.

  3. Step 03

    We do the approved work

Then we run the system and show you what we found.

Rate Questions

The estimate still beats any sentence on this page.

Call or text (479) 966-0099
Is the $79 Service Call the whole bill?

No. The $79 Service Call is the visit, $79 per system. If you approve the repair, that $79 is applied toward the repair. If you do not, the $79 covers the visit. After hours visits are priced separately.

Are the repair prices exact?

They are starting figures, and they include the diagnostic, labor, and materials. The written estimate for your system is the price. Access, parts, and the age of the equipment can move it.

Do you charge extra to find a refrigerant leak?

Adding refrigerant starts at $380 on an air conditioner or heat pump. A long leak search is not the same job as topping off a system, and we say so before that work starts.

Can these numbers change?

Yes. They are published so you can see the shape of a bill. Brett can update them. The estimate we write before the repair is the number that counts.
