What a proper ductless install involves
Sizing first. An oversized head short cycles, never pulls humidity out and leaves the room clammy. Sizing comes from the space, its insulation, its windows and how it is used.
Then the install itself: mounting the indoor head where the air will actually reach the room, running and protecting the line set, getting condensate draining properly rather than into the wall, pulling a proper vacuum, verifying the charge, and testing the system under load before we leave.

What ductless will not fix
If the main system is failing, a mini split in one room is a patch, not a repair. If the ductwork leaks, the ductwork is the problem and adding a separate system around it usually costs more than fixing it.
